Steven Paul Jobs, the iconic co-founder, chairman and former CEO of Apple Inc., died on October 5 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 56 years old.

"Only he understood the soul of Apple and its innovative roots, and the importance of combining art and science in the creation of truly great products. Only he had the powerful personality, vision and taste to achieve greatness."
