Membership is open to professionals as well as legal and accounting firms who are focusing on tax.
To get listed as tax professional in the Pool of Experts you need to have a very good knowledge in taxation and related areas like accounting and law, both at domestic and international levels. The condition is usually met if you have an advanced professional or academic degree in taxation and/or several years of experience as tax advisor (tax manager) in a legal or accounting firm.
The admission resp. listing requirements
are fairly strict but essential to meet the quality standards in the international market. However, exceptions are made in cases of equal qualification.
Membership does not establish legally binding commitments or obligations, e.g. resignation from membership is anytime possible without any financial or other implications.
