| Education: Karen obtained her LL.B. and Commerce (major in Accounting) degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. |
| Experience: Karen has extensive tax advisory experiences including advising on optimal tax structures for multinational corporations, individual tax compliance obligations, as well as advising on the implications on the relevant tax treaties. She also has extensive experiences in dealing with the tax authorities, including assisting clients to handle inquiries raised by the tax authorities and maintain proper record keeping to minimise the risks that clients would be challenged by the tax authorities. Prior to joining OLN, Karen worked in both the Hong Kong and the New Zealand offices of one of the 'Big Four' accounting firms advising on Hong Kong tax, PRC tax, New Zealand tax and international tax planning with a focus on the development in BEPS. |
