| Education: Mauro Mattei graduated in Economics in Milan in 1998 and then in 2000 attended a Master Programme in International Tax Practice. He is an Italian Public Chartered Accountant (Dottore Commercialista), a Certified Auditor (Revisore Legale) and a T.E.P. (Registered Tax and Estate Practitioner). |
| Experience: After three years as a trainee, he started his professional career in 2000 as a member of the Tax Department at De Berti Jacchia Law Firm in Milan, from where he moved to DLA Piper in 2004. He joined Power Consulting S.C. as a partner and then in mid-2008 he co-founded “DCA Dottori Commercialisti Associati” based in Milan. In 2009 DCA merged with Lombard Consulting creating a new Firm called LombardDCA. He is now Partner at LombardDCA where he is Head of the International and Trusts Department and is responsible for servicing a wide variety of clients, consisting of Italian mid sized companies, international corporate groups, banks and financial entities as well as Italian and foreign individuals. |
| Practice Areas: He is experienced in assisting clients in all fields of tax law both national as well as international. He has worked on many cross-border and domestic M&A deals, and he has also been closely involved in restructuring projects, tax planning structures, tax litigation, and tax audits. He has also developed a vast experience in the field of Trust, as a consultant for private and corporate clients and as a Trustee. He is Statutory Internal Auditor in several Italian companies acting in many different fields. |
