| Experience: Matthew started his career in London where he worked in the tax department of British Steel Plc. He joined PriceWaterhouse in Warsaw in 1992 and remained with the firm until 2007. In the period 2000-2007, Matthew was Director in PwC Warsaw responsible for the international tax and transfer pricing specialisms. In 2007 and 2008 Matthew worked for a period as Tax Director in Ernst & Young, Warsaw in the transaction tax team. At E&Y he advised on mergers and acquisitions and international tax matters. In autumn 2008 Matthew set up an independent tax advisory company Taxplan. Taxplan has its head office in Warsaw, Poland. |
| Practice Areas: International tax and transfer pricing. Cross border tax optimisation projects and international tax planning. Matthew also has experience with taxation aspects of mergers and acquisitions, the allocation of profits to branch offices, toll and contract manufacturing and limited risk buy-sell operations, and international financing structures. Matthew has advised on tax optimised solutions for private entrepreneurs. |
